So I've kind of been on a Wet n Wild kick. I haven't really tried any of their products since I was in junior high when their products pretty much sucked xD Well times have changed. After trying their Mega Last lip color in Cherry Bomb, I decided to try a vampy red nail polish to match. I've been thinking about how much I've been spending on Essie and OPI polishes >:/ so I wanted to see what I could get on a budget. This is Wet n Wild's Wild Shine in 412A Jezebel and I love it!
The consistency is great. It's not too wet and has just the right thickness. One coat of this has great color payoff but two made it true to color and just the deep red wine color I love for the fall.
Here's a few pictures of what two coats look like with an added accent nail to complete the look.
You can get Wet n Wild at your local drugstore for $.99. Happy Shopping!

Get Ready for Fall! Red Lips On A Budget
Today I watched fashionista804's video on her favorite fall MAC lipsticks and of course she included many shades of red. My favorite red lips for fall are are deep, wine colored, dark reds. I love the simplicity of being able to wear the lipstick on it's own sans eye makeup and still look polished and put together.
The beauty of the red lipstick trend is that you don't need to spend $14-16 to achieve this look. I picked up a Wet n Wild Mega Last lipstick shade in 918D Cherry Bomb.

I love that this lipstick is very pigmented and for $1.99 it's a steal. The only con I have about it is that it can be very drying but that is easily fixable by slathering on chapstick before applying or wearing a gloss over it. Here's a swatch:

and here's a pic I posted to my ig:(Me wearing the lipstick on the left)

Waterproof Mascara Problem!
After watching billions of beauty videos, I finally realized that waterproof mascara was the only type of mascara that held a curl on my lashes. I have no clue why it took me so long to realize this applied to me and for me to try it. So I purchased Maybelline The Falsies Flared and I absolutely love what it does for my lashes =) It really helps them look like falsies!! But I had one problem... when I went to take it off, the mascara wouldn't budge!
Things I tried..
Baby oil= didn't work!
Vaseline= didn't work!
Maybelline's own waterproof makeup remover. Same company... should work right?!= nope didn't work either!
My last hope..
Neutrogena's Eye Makeup Remover has great reviews and it's a winner! It works like a dream. I bought it for $6.99 at a local drug store and it is worth every penny =)
